Peter H. Seeberger is a pioneering figure in carbohydrate chemistry and chemical biology, whose work has fundamentally reshaped how researchers study and harness complex sugars. His key research areas include automated glycan synthesis, carbohydrate microarrays, and the development of synthetic vaccines and anticoagulants. Seeberger’s major contributions center on creating high-throughput tools to decode the biological roles of carbohydrates.
